Filip Stipančić, is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at Smion, with over a decade of experience in innovation program development, technology project management, and business strategy consulting. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zagreb and is a CFA charterholder, combining technical expertise with financial acumen.
Since 2013, Filip has been active in shaping the startup and innovation landscape across Croatia and Europe. He has consulted and mentored over 500 startup teams across three continents, delivering more than 200 startup and innovation workshops through programs such as EIT Food, EIT Health, VentureUp, and EU4Innovation.
Filip specializes in bridging the gap between technology and business, supporting startups and innovation-driven teams in business model development, market validation, and commercialization strategies. He has led technical teams and managed international projects in software development and technology commercialization, working with diverse stakeholders in both profit and non-profit sectors.
