I was born in Dubrovnik, but I moved to England at a young age. I have been working in tourism since 1979, starting on cruise ships, then as a head of the agency in Dublin, as an animator in resorts and ski resorts, a guide, a tour guide in Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Slovenia in Medjugorje and Croatia.

At the beginning of the war, I returned to Croatia, where I worked as a journalist and photo reporter through the war and until 1999.

In 2000 I went to England again and after graduating from university I returned to Croatia and worked in the hotel industry first as a hotel, afterwards as part of the “pre-opening” team of hotels in Dubrovnik, and then as a Rooms Division Manager for Valamar

I have led several digitalization projects in the Accommodation department and for Web check in for which I received two annual awards in Valamar – for innovation of the year 2018 and for Digital Step Forward 2019.
